Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Dry yeast - 0.2 oz
- Water - 3 tablespoons
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Honey - 10.6 oz
- Safflower Oil - 15 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In 500 g of flour, add 7 g of dry yeast and mix well. Then add 3 tablespoons of water, mix, add 10 tablespoons of sunflower oil, mix well again, and let it sit in a warm place for about 30 minutes. The dough will become crumbly.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the lemon, chop it, and add it to 1 cup of honey, mixing well. Then blend the honey with the lemon in a blender and transfer it to a glass.
Step 3
Add 1 cup of the blended honey with lemon to the dough, mix, knead the dough, and let it rest in a warm place for another 30 minutes.
Step 4
From the dough, shape small balls, make a hole in the center of each ball, and form bagels.
Step 5
Brush each bagel with the remaining sunflower oil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake the bagels in a preheated oven at 356°F for 30 minutes.
