Ice Cream "Plombir"
Ingredients
- Milk - 10 fl oz
- 10% cream - 8 fl oz
- Condensed Milk - 1.4 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Corn Starch - 0.4 oz
- Vanillin - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix sugar, vanillin, and powdered milk.
Step 2
Gradually pour 250 ml of milk into the dry mixture.
Step 3
Place the mixture over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Mix the remaining milk with cornstarch. Pour into the boiling milk.
Step 5
Stir and remove from heat. Strain through a sieve, cover with plastic wrap, and cool completely.
Step 6
Whip the chilled cream until peaks form and mix with the milk mixture.
Step 7
Place the mixture in the freezer for 40 minutes, taking it out every 10 minutes to whip slightly.
Step 8
Pour the finished ice cream into cups and place in the freezer for 2–3 hours.
