  • Sugar - 7.1 oz
  • Milk - 13 fl oz
  • Chinese Five Spice - 0.1 oz
  • Cream - 10.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix the milk and cream with the spices and grated ginger. Bring to a boil, then combine with the egg yolks that have been beaten with sugar.

Step 2

Heat the mixture to a temperature of 180°F, strain it, place it in an ice bath, and let it steep overnight.

Step 3
