Description
I have a small frying pan, 16 cm in diameter. I made 7 pancakes. It's better to divide the pancake into 4 parts. When you cover it with toppings, it will be convenient to roll each part into a tube so that the filling doesn't spill out.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Rum - 3 tablespoons
- Raisins - 3 tablespoons
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Butter - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
- Almond Flakes - to taste
- Sesame Seeds - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the raisins in rum, cognac, or wine for 30-45 minutes. I had large raisins, so I chopped them into small pieces.
Step 2
Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Whip the egg whites, and mix the yolks with milk, flour, salt, sugar, and the whipped egg whites.
Step 3
Melt the butter in the frying pan and pour in part of the batter. The pancake should not be thick. Sprinkle with raisins, fry, divide into 2-4 parts, and flip. When the pancake is golden brown, remove it from the heat.
Step 4
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and optionally add cinnamon, sesame seeds, or almond flakes. It’s better to prepare the topping in advance by mixing all the ingredients in one bowl.
Step 5
It is recommended to serve with apple puree or plum jam. We ate it without any of that : ) It was very delicious!!! The main thing is to eat it while it's still warm.
