Description

The dough can be prepared in advance. The filling can be substituted with finely chopped raw chicken meat.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 4 glasses
  • Margarine - 8.8 oz
  • Water - 8 fl oz
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Dry yeast - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Potato - 6 pieces
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Ground meat - 17.6 oz
  • Whole egg - 1 piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Knead the dough. Dissolve the yeast in a glass of water with sugar. Cut the cold margarine into the flour until it resembles fine crumbs. Then, use your hands to rub the flour with the margarine until you achieve a fine crumbly mixture. Gather it into a mound, make a well in the center, add salt, and pour in the dissolved yeast. Knead the dough. Place the finished dough in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

For the filling, dice the raw potatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the onion, mix it with the potatoes, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 20 pieces. Roll them out. Place the filling on each round: potatoes with onions on the bottom, minced meat on top. Fold the pastries into triangles. Brush with egg yolk. Let them rise for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 392°F for 20 minutes until golden brown.
