Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Oats - 1.8 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour - 0.9 oz
- Bran - 0.9 oz
- Salt - 1¼ teaspoons
- Honey - 5 tablespoons
- Buttermilk - 7 fl oz
- Light Molasses - 1½ tablespoons
- Raisins - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and sprinkle with flour.
Step 2
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add honey, raisins, molasses, and buttermilk. Mix by hand until a soft dough forms.
Step 3
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide it into two pieces (dusting your hands with flour first). Shape the dough into balls. Place on the parchment paper and gently flatten.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until the bread sounds hollow when tapped. Cool on a wire rack.
