Ingredients
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Whole egg - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - 0.1 oz
- 9% Vinegar - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the egg yolks with 130 grams of sugar.
Step 2
Melt the butter. Pour half of the butter into the egg mixture, add a pinch of salt and the milk.
Step 3
Sift the flour and mix well until smooth.
Step 4
Dissolve the baking soda in vinegar and stir.
Step 5
The batter should be thin and lump-free.
Step 6
Pour the batter into a baking dish, previously greased with butter on the bottom and sides.
Step 7
Peel the apples.
Step 8
Slice the fruit into thin wedges.
Step 9
Arrange the apples vertically in the batter, slightly pressing them in.
Step 10
Drizzle the remaining butter over the pie.
Step 11
Sprinkle with 20 grams of sugar. Place in a preheated oven at 356°F and bake for 35–40 minutes.
