Italian Peach Gelato
Ingredients
- Milk - 1 qt
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Whole egg - 12 pieces
- Donut Peaches - 8 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a blender, puree the peeled peaches until smooth.
Step 2
In a large saucepan, mix the lightly beaten yolks, 750 ml of milk, and sugar. Place over very low heat and whisk while heating until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add 500 ml of peach puree. Stir and slowly incorporate the remaining milk.
Step 3
Cool, then freeze, stirring occasionally.
