Jellied Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Cottage cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Water - 6 tablespoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Apple - 5 pieces
  • Sour Cream - 3.5 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
  • Vanilla Pod - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Potato protein - 3 tablespoons
  • Whipped Cream - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Chop the cold butter with the flour into crumbs, add sugar, cottage cheese, baking powder, and gradually add water to knead an elastic dough by hand (or you can mix all the ingredients in a food processor).

Step 2

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Cut the apples into cubes. In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the apples, sprinkle them with sugar, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out, transfer it to a greased baking dish, prick the bottom with a fork, and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the contents. In a bowl, mix sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and starch. Add the apples, mix, and pour into the pre-baked pie crust.

Step 6

Bake on the middle rack for 30 minutes.

Step 7

Remove the finished pie from the oven, let it cool, and decorate with whipped cream.
