Description
Jelly Cake with Cocoa
Ingredients
- 1% Kefir - 1 qt
- Gelatin - 0.7 oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Vanilla salt - a pinch
- Cocoa Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Jelly Powder - to taste
- Crackers - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the jelly according to the package instructions (preferably use less water to make the jelly firmer). Set all three jellies to set.
Step 2
Cut the set jelly into cubes or as desired, and place them in a wide dish where the cake will set, then layer the jelly cubes on top.
Step 3
Soak the gelatin in 100 ml of cold water and let it sit for 10 minutes, then heat it over low heat (do not bring to a boil!).
Step 4
Whip the kefir with sugar using a mixer, gradually adding the gelatin and vanilla.
Step 5
Pour the jelly mixture into a mold, leaving about 100 ml in a separate container, to which add the cocoa and mix thoroughly, you can use a mixer. Pour the cocoa mixture into the mold and sprinkle the crackers evenly on top.
Step 6
Place in the refrigerator and let it set. Then you can invert it onto a platter, and the cake will come out of the mold (for this, briefly place the mold in hot water). This way, the cocoa layer will be at the bottom and will act as a base.
