Description
Jelly Cake with Sweet Biscuit Base
Ingredients
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Vanillin - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 5.6 oz
- Whipped Cream - 5 fl oz
- Apple - 1 piece
- Jelly Powder - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the jelly. For this, you will need a packet of quick-setting jelly (for example, 50 g). Dissolve the contents of the packet in 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water while stirring continuously. Pour into a prepared pot or container. Important! The mold should have the same diameter as the mold for the future biscuit so that the edges do not need to be leveled. To help the jelly release from the mold, it should be dipped in warm water.
Step 2
Make the biscuit. Beat the eggs, add sugar, vanillin, baking soda (activated with vinegar), and flour. Mix until smooth — you can use a blender. Place in the oven at 356°F for 30 minutes. Important! The mold should have the same diameter as the mold for the future biscuit so that the edges do not need to be leveled.
Step 3
Peel the apple and cut it into very thin semicircular slices.
Step 4
Cut the finished biscuit in half and fill it with jelly. Squeeze whipped cream on top in a 1 cm layer. Arrange the sliced apples on top.
Step 5
You can sprinkle the top of the cake with crushed walnuts.
