Description

- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Chicken fillet - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 2 spoons
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and pound it almost to a minced meat consistency. Add salt and pepper (preferably a mix of peppers) to taste, dress with mayonnaise, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in olive oil until it turns light golden, then add it to the fillet.
Step 3
Cut the puff pastry into two equal halves and roll them out thinner.
Step 4
Separate the egg white from the yolk. Add the egg white to the filling and mix well.
Step 5
Place the first sheet of dough on a greased baking tray, spread the filling on top, sprinkle with grated cheese, and cover with the second sheet. Pinch the edges together and brush the top of the pie with egg yolk.
Step 6
Bake in the oven at 356°F for 25–30 minutes.
