- Hot dogs - 4 pieces
- Lean Beef - 12.3 oz
- Cervelat Sausage - 12.3 oz
- Marinara sauce - ½ cup
- Melted Cheese - 15.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven. Slice the buns lengthwise, but not all the way through. Open the buns and place them on a baking sheet. Set aside.
Step 2
Place a large skillet over high heat and sauté the ground beef and sliced sausages, stirring, for 15 minutes, breaking up large clumps, then drain the fat.
Step 3
Stuff each bun with the sautéed meat, season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with marinara sauce. Slice the cheese thinly and arrange on top. Season with salt and pepper and bake for about 7 minutes, until the cheese is golden.
