Ingredients
- Kefir - 17 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 1.1 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Sour Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with salt and sugar until lightly frothy.
Step 3
Continue whisking and gradually pour in the kefir.
Step 4
Gradually add the sifted flour, mixing well to avoid lumps.
Step 5
Bring the water to a boil, then add the baking soda and stir until dissolved.
Step 6
Pour boiling water mixed with baking soda into the dough and stir until smooth.
Step 7
At the end, fold in the vegetable oil into the dough.
Step 8
Preheat the crepe pan well. If desired, lightly grease the bottom of the pan with oil, then pour in a ladle of batter, spreading it evenly across the surface. There is no need to constantly stir the batter before pouring it into the pan.
Step 9
When the edges of the pancake are golden brown, flip it over and cook for another 20–30 seconds on the other side.
Step 10
In this way, fry all the pancakes, stacking them up and spreading each one with a little butter.
Step 11
Serve the pancakes with sour cream or your favorite toppings.
