Description
Baking soda can be replaced with regular baking powder by adding a teaspoon at the same moment. If desired, you can skip the candied fruits if you don't have them or don't want to prepare them. It's better to do this while making the pie. If candied fruits are not included in the recipe, it's better to add melted butter (about 50 grams) instead of vegetable oil to the parchment in the baking dish and sprinkle it with sugar; this will create a caramel crust right away. Also, if you're willing to put in the effort, you can make caramel, pour it into the mold, and then place the sliced mandarins on top. But all of this will only complicate the process.
