Serve with sour cream, kefir, or ayran.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 2 lbs
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Water - 20 fl oz
- Potato - 2 lbs
- Homemade Cheese - 2 lbs
- Butter - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the water and flour, then add the egg and yeast. Knead the dough.
Step 2
Place the prepared dough in the refrigerator for one hour.
Step 3
Boil the potatoes and let them cool. Pass the potatoes and cheese through a meat grinder. Form into balls.
Step 4
Take a piece of dough and gently knead it. Shape it into a ball, pinch the edges together like a pie, and roll it out very thinly, slightly larger than a pancake. Place the rolled-out khychin onto a hot skillet (without oil!) and fry on both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
Place the finished khychin on a plate and brush both sides with butter.
