Description
The cheese can vary depending on your supplies. However, goat cheese particularly enhances the flavor of spinach and melts nicely, which can be mixed with other cheeses. A bit of blue cheese will also add aroma.
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash - 2 pieces
- Kefir - 5 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Goat cheese - 7.1 oz
- Shrimp - 5.3 oz
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Black sesame seeds - to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Frozen spinach discs - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the spinach in cold water to thaw. Once thawed, squeeze it out and chop it like herbs without unraveling the leaves.
Step 2
Peel the shrimp and cut them into one-centimeter segments. If the shrimp are raw (which is good), there is no need to fry them!
Step 3
Grate the cheese into a large bowl. Set aside a handful of grated cheese. Add about 1.5 eggs, minced garlic, black sesame, salt, pepper, as well as the chopped spinach and shrimp to the bowl. Mix well. Pour in the kefir until the mixture has a consistency similar to sour cream. If the lavash is dry, add more kefir.
Step 4
Grab some scissors and start layering the pie. Place a sheet of lavash at the bottom with some overhang to form edges. Next, add a thin layer of filling, then a lavash sheet cut to the size of the dish, and continue layering until the filling is used up, ensuring a lavash sheet is on top. In a 25x25 cm dish, you should get about 6 layers. On the last layer of lavash, sprinkle the remaining handful of cheese mixed with half an egg and black sesame.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F until golden brown, about 30–40 minutes. Let it cool slightly and serve.
