Layered Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Potato protein - 2 teaspoons
  • Apple - 2 lbs
  • Semolina - 1 cup

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix all the dry ingredients.

Step 2

Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Line the baking dish with parchment paper.

Step 4

Evenly sprinkle a few tablespoons of the dry mixture on the bottom, then layer with the same thickness of grated apples. Repeat the layers until the apples are finished. The last layer should be the dry mixture.

Step 5

Additionally, I recommend placing thin slices of butter on top of the last layer. I did this after the pie was baked. As a result, there will be no powder on the pie — instead, the dry mixture will bake as well.

Step 6

Smooth the top, bake at 356°F for 40–50 minutes. The pie should be cut when cooled (although I cut it while it was still warm).
