Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese - 6.3 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Nutmeg - a pinch
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  • 20% Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 7.1 oz
  • Corn Starch - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thaw the cherries and pour half of the juice into a glass.

Step 10

Immediately drop them into the boiling water and cook for 2–3 minutes.

Step 11

It's easier to cook 5–6 pieces at a time to prevent the dumplings from sticking together.

Step 12

Remove with a slotted spoon onto plates and serve with cherry sauce.

Add sugar to the cherries and place the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.

Step 3

Dissolve the cornstarch in the juice and pour it into the cherries, stirring until thickened, then remove from heat. Keep warm until serving.

Step 4

In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese well with a fork, add flour, sugar, and nutmeg, and mix.

Step 5

Add the egg and continue to knead with a fork, forming the mixture into a ball.

Step 6

Depending on the consistency, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of sour cream.

Step 7

The cottage cheese mixture should be soft but hold its shape.

Step 8

In a small pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.

Step 9

Use a dessert spoon to take the cottage cheese dough and, pressing the spoon against the side of the bowl, quickly form oval dumplings.
