Description
To determine how much salt to add, you need to taste the cheese. If the cheese is very salty, you can skip adding any salt at all.
Ingredients
- Suluguni Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Sugar - ½ spoons
- Baking Powder - ½ spoons
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 2
Whisk together the milk, egg, salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder.
Step 3
Add cheese to the dough and mix well.
Step 4
Heat a skillet, grease it with vegetable oil, and pour in the batter. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 7–8 minutes. The bottom should be golden brown and the top should set.
Step 5
Flip the khachapuri and cook covered for about 3 more minutes until golden brown.
Step 6
Brush the finished lazy khachapuri with butter and enjoy immediately.
