This cake is significantly simpler than the traditional Napoleon, but sometimes you can indulge in this lighter recipe.
Ingredients
- Crackers - 28.2 oz
- Milk - 1 qt
- Farm fresh eggs - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.2 oz
- Vanillin - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat three eggs with 100 grams of sugar, add 90 grams of flour, vanillin, and half a glass of milk.
Step 2
Bring the remaining milk to a boil and gradually pour in the egg, sugar, and flour mixture, allowing it to boil for a minute while stirring constantly, then remove from heat. You can add butter to the mixture for extra flavor.
Step 3
Assemble the cake. Spread cream on a plate, place layers of crackers, followed by cream, crackers, cream, crackers, and so on.
Step 4
Spread cream generously on top of the cake and sprinkle with crushed crackers.
Step 5
Refrigerate the cake for 7–8 hours.
