Description
For the filling, you can use diced cabbage that has been blanched in boiling water. Drain the water through a sieve. Mix the cabbage with diced boiled eggs and combine with melted butter, adding salt to taste. This is my grandmother's favorite holiday dish.

- Wheat Flour - 19.4 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Dry yeast - 0.4 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Vinegar essence - ½ teaspoon
- Vanillin - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Halibut - 2 lbs
- Rice - 1 cup
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling for the pie. For this, cook the rice until half done.
Step 2
Sauté the onion.
Step 3
Cut the raw halibut fillet into pieces, season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Prepare the dough. Soak the yeast in water and add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Step 5
Beat the eggs with sugar and butter (or margarine).
Step 6
Combine the eggs and yeast mixture. Then add the sour cream.
Step 7
Add baking soda, dissolved in vinegar.
Step 8
Add vanillin and salt.
Step 9
Gradually add the flour and knead the dough.
Step 10
Divide the dough into 2 parts and roll out each part.
Step 11
Place one rolled-out dough on a baking sheet, add the filling, and cover with the second rolled-out dough.
Step 12
Let the finished pie sit in a warm place for 2 hours.
Step 13
When the dough has risen, bake it, brushing the pie with egg beforehand.
