Lazy Striped Pie
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 5 pieces
- 20% Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 8.8 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 0.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip them until frothy, add sugar, continuing to beat at medium speed with a mixer. Then add the yolks one at a time.
Step 2
Next, add the melted butter, mixing gently with a spoon to avoid knocking out the air. This can affect the volume of the pie.
Step 3
Add the baking powder to the flour and sift it into our mixture, adding it gradually, not all 400 grams at once!!!
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2 parts, adding cocoa to one of them and mixing until homogeneous.
Step 5
Grease the baking dish with butter; for convenience, you can line it with parchment paper. First, place 2 tablespoons of the plain batter in the center of the dish, then a spoonful of the cocoa batter, and alternate until all the batter is used!
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 338°F and bake for 30–40 minutes. If the top browns too much, you can cover it with foil. Check for doneness as usual with a wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, the pie is ready.
Step 7
Let it cool and decorate to your liking! In my case, I used raspberry jam and walnuts. It would also be delicious covered with chocolate glaze or milk cream.
