- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - 7.1 oz
- Brown Sugar - 2.8 oz
- Oranges - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Honey - 7.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the sifted flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and sugar.
Step 2
Grate the orange zest. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
Step 3
Pour the vegetable oil, honey, orange juice, and add the zest into the flour with spices.
Step 4
Add the lightly beaten eggs and mix (you can use a whisk or a mixer).
Step 5
Pour the resulting batter into a greased mold and place it in a preheated oven at 356°F.
Step 6
Bake for about 40–50 minutes (check with a toothpick until it comes out dry).
