Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the softened butter with sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the zest and liqueur. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing well.

Step 2

Line the baking pan with parchment paper (or grease with butter and lightly dust with flour). Fill with the batter and smooth the surface with a large spoon.

Step 3

Bake for 40 minutes at 356°F.
