Lemon Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • Butter - 6.2 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 12.3 oz
  • Sugar - 10.6 oz
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 0.9 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Grease 2 baking sheets with butter and sprinkle them with flour.

Step 2

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with sugar.

Step 3

Add the egg, sift the flour on top, and knead into a homogeneous dough. Divide it into two bowls. Add lemon zest to one part and chocolate to the other.

Step 4

On a floured surface, roll out the dough into 2 rectangles of the same size (the dough is very sticky, so it's easier to roll it between two sheets of parchment paper). Place the lemon dough on top of the chocolate dough and roll everything into one log.

Step 5

Place the log in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to make it easier to cut. Then slice into 40 very thin pieces and arrange them on the baking sheets. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 10-12 minutes until golden.
