Description
This ratio of powdered sugar and milk creates the perfect thick icing. However, I find it too sweet, so I add twice as much milk. The sugar caramelized in some places, making the cookies crispy. If you want to make them softer, add baking soda.

- Wheat Flour - 7.8 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 1.6 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Milk - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 347°F and grease a large baking sheet with butter.
Step 2
In a deep bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Add the butter, then add the zest, whole egg, and yolks. Mix everything thoroughly until the dough is not sticky and can be easily shaped by hand.
Step 3
Roll the dough into balls the size of a walnut and place them on the baking sheet at least three centimeters apart so they can spread while baking.
Step 4
Bake for twenty-five minutes until the cookies are golden brown on top. Let cool.
Step 5
Mix the powdered sugar with the milk until smooth. Once the cookies have cooled, drizzle them with the icing.
