Lemon Cottage Cheese Pie

Ingredients

  • Margarine - 3.5 oz
  • Cottage cheese - 2 lbs
  • Chicken Egg - 6 pieces
  • Lemon - 2 pieces
  • Semolina - 3.5 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 320°F.

Step 2

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.

Step 3

Soften the margarine and cream it together with the egg yolks. Add sugar, the zest of one lemon, and the juice of two lemons. Whisk thoroughly. Then incorporate the cottage cheese, semolina, and the baking soda sifted with flour.

Step 4

Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites.

Step 5

Grease the baking pan with margarine, pour in the mixture, and bake for about an hour.
