Ingredients

  • Whole egg - 5 pieces
  • Sugar - 4.4 oz
  • Milk - 17 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 6 fl oz
  • Citrus Zest Mix - 2 tablespoons
  • Cream - 3 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the yolks with half of the sugar until creamy. Pour the milk, zest, and remaining sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour in the egg mixture and stir well. Transfer the mixture back to the saucepan and cook on low heat, stirring, until the mixture thickens, but do not let it boil.

Step 2

Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add lemon juice and cream. Stir, pour into a container. Cover and place in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes until the ice cream is set.
