Lemon-Lime Sorbet
Ingredients
- Lemon - 3 pieces
- Lime - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Non-alcoholic sparkling wine - 5 fl oz
- Fresh Mint - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Zest the limes. Squeeze the juice from the limes and lemons. You should get about one cup of juice.
Step 2
Add sugar to the juice. Heat over low heat until the sugar completely dissolves. Cool the syrup.
Step 3
Pour into a freezing tray, add the zest, and mix. Gradually pour in the sparkling water, tasting as you go.
Step 4
Place the tray in the freezer for 3–4 hours. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes.
Step 5
You can serve the sorbet in lemon halves (after removing the pulp). Garnish with a sprig of mint.
