Ingredients
- Butter - 2.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1¼ cups
- Oat flakes - ½ cup
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Baking Powder - 2½ teaspoons
- Grated Lemon Zest - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Raisins - 3.4 oz
- Cream 22% - 5 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 401°F.
Step 2
Using a blender, mix the butter, flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt until it resembles fine crumbs. Add one egg, raisins, and cream, and mix well again.
Step 3
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Then knead the dough 10 times. Roll the dough into a log and cut it into pieces with a knife. Move them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Beat the last egg and brush it over the buns.
Step 4
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the buns are golden brown. Once you take the baking sheet out of the oven, immediately transfer them to a plate. Serve warm. Bon appétit!!
