Description
You can use any fruits and berries instead of lemon.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Butter - 3.9 oz
- Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Lemon - 2 pieces
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the sour cream with baking soda, add melted butter, and stir until smooth.
Step 2
Gradually start adding the flour in small portions. After adding 1.5 cups, check if the dough sticks to your hands; if it does, add the remaining half cup. Otherwise, it's not necessary. Knead the dough and divide it into 2 equal parts.
Step 3
Cut the lemons into small wedges with the peel and blend them in a blender or pass them through a meat grinder.
Step 4
Mix the chopped lemon with 1 cup of sugar.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Place half of the dough as the base. Spread the dough evenly across the surface of the pan, making small edges.
Step 6
Add the filling and spread it evenly over the base.
Step 7
Crumble the second part of the dough with your hands and cover the filling with it.
Step 8
For a golden crust, brush the pie with the beaten egg yolk. Prick the pie with a fork. Bake for about 30 minutes. Once cooled, you can sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar.
