- Sugar - 4.4 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Water - 0 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Milk - 7 fl oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the sugar, softened butter, and hot water.
Step 2
Stir in the flour, zest, and juice of 1 large lemon.
Step 3
Beat the egg yolks with the milk and slowly incorporate into the butter mixture.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites and fold them in as well.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into a greased 1-liter ovenproof dish and place it in a pan with warm water.
Step 6
Bake at 338°F for 45 minutes.
Step 7
Serve hot, as the pudding will melt and create a sauce around itself.
