Ingredients
- Yubileynoye Cookies - 8.8 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1.8 oz
- 10% cream - 7 fl oz
- Vanilla salt - ½ teaspoon
- Sherbet - 1½ kg
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Take your favorite sherbet (fruit-berry or citrus) out of the freezer.
Step 2
Crush the cookies into fine crumbs. You can make this process easier and faster with a blender or food processor.
Step 3
Whip the cream with a mixer, adding powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Use cream with at least 33% fat content. For better whipping, the cream should be chilled.
Step 4
Prepare the crust. Grease the bottom of the baking dish with a small amount of whipped cream. Most of it will be used for decoration on top. Spread the crumbs evenly and press down firmly. Do not throw away the remaining crumbs.
Step 5
Spoon the softened sherbet on top using a spoon dipped in water (this will make the process much easier).
Step 6
Add a couple of spoonfuls of crumbs to the whipped cream and gently mix. Then spread this cream over the sherbet. Generously sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top.
Step 7
Place the dessert in the freezer for at least 3 hours. Serve chilled, cutting into portioned pieces.
