Light Kefir Cake
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Kefir - 8 fl oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Sour Cream - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 8.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, prepare the batter: beat the eggs with the glass of sugar, add kefir, flour, and baking soda (or baking powder).
Step 2
Divide the batter into two equal parts and add a teaspoon of cocoa to one part.
Step 3
Bake 2 layers (at 356°F for 30 minutes). Let cool and cut into 2 parts with a sharp knife.
Step 4
Prepare the cream: mix sour cream and sugar (100 g). Optionally, add vanilla, nuts, dried fruits, etc.
Step 5
Spread cream between the layers and let it soak for 3 hours.
