Description

The lingonberries are on equal footing with the apples — 300 grams of berries compared to two apples. Before adding the filling to the pie, the berries and apples should be mixed with one beaten egg and three tablespoons of sour cream.

  • Lingonberry - 10.6 oz
  • Apple - 2 pieces
  • Butter - 2 spoons
  • Puff Pastry - 26.5 oz
  • Sugar - 5.3 oz
  • Sour Cream - 3 spoons
  • Chicken Egg - 2 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into small cubes. Heat butter in a skillet and sauté the apples with sugar until they are soft.

Step 2

Beat one egg with sour cream.

Step 3

Mix the apples with the lingonberries and the whipped egg with sour cream.

Step 4

Roll out two-thirds of the dough into a wide circle and place it in a greased baking dish. Spread the filling evenly, then brush the edges with beaten egg. Roll out the remaining dough and cover the pie with it. Pinch the edges to seal. Let the pie rest in a warm place for half an hour.

Step 5

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Brush the pie with the remaining beaten egg and place it in the oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
