Lingonberry-Mandarin Jam
Ingredients
- Lingonberry - 2 cups
- Mandarins - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 1½ cups
- Ground Cinnamon - 3 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the pre-sorted lingonberries, pour them into a pot, and place on low heat.
Step 2
Wash the mandarins, and chop them very finely (I chopped them with the peel, as it gives the jam a pleasant bitter taste), then add to the lingonberries.
Step 3
Slightly mash the berries with a spoon to release more juice. Cook the lingonberries and mandarins for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Then, add sugar to the pot and cook everything on low heat for another 15 minutes.
Step 5
Add cinnamon, remove from heat, and let it sit.
Step 6
After cooling, transfer to a jar.
