Lingonberry Pie with Apples

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 6.2 oz
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Cottage cheese - 3.5 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoons
  • Vanilla salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Lingonberry - 10.6 oz
  • Green Apples - 1 piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

For the dough, chop the flour (100 grams from the total), cold butter, and cottage cheese into crumbs.

Step 2

Add the small egg and knead the dough. Form into a ball and refrigerate for 30–40 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour, then roll out the dough. Create edges and bake the dough base in the oven for 15–20 minutes. If the crust puffs up, simply press it back down with your hands.

Step 4

If necessary, thaw the lingonberries and let the juice drain.

Step 5

For the filling, mix the sour cream with sugar, the remaining flour (3 tablespoons), and vanilla sugar. Whip thoroughly until a thick cream is obtained.

Step 6

Fold the lingonberries into the sour cream mixture and pour the resulting mixture onto the already prepared base.

Step 7

Slice one large sweet apple into thin wedges and decorate the top of the pie. You can sprinkle with one tablespoon of sugar and return to the oven for another 40 minutes at the same temperature.

Step 8

Allow the finished pie to cool completely before serving.
