Liquid Dough for Quick Pie
Ingredients
- Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
- Mayonnaise - 8.8 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Salt - to taste
- Activated Baking Soda - a pinch
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the sour cream and mayonnaise.
Step 2
Beat the eggs and add them to the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture.
Step 3
It's better to neutralize the baking soda with vinegar and add it to the mixture.
Step 4
Add salt and sugar to taste. I usually use a bit more sugar than salt.
Step 5
Gradually add the flour and knead the dough.
Step 6
Pour 0.5 cups of dough into a baking dish greased with sunflower oil. Place the prepared filling (stewed cabbage with meat or egg and onion, or meat, or fish with rice, in general — any filling). Pour the remaining dough on top. Smooth the surface and place in the oven at 392°F for 20–30 minutes.
Step 7
Check the readiness of the pie by the golden crust and with a toothpick.
