- Carrots - 2 lbs
- Chicken Eggs - 4 pieces
- Cottage cheese - 7.1 oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Nuts - 0.7 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and grate the carrots on a fine grater.
Step 2
Separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the yolks until lightened, and whisk the whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Add the cottage cheese to the yolks and mix until smooth. Fold in the grated carrots, then gently incorporate the egg whites.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with sunflower oil. Spread the carrot mixture evenly and sprinkle with nuts (you can also mix them into the filling).
Step 5
Bake for about 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 356°F.
Step 6
For sweetness, you can add honey.
