- Saffron - ¼ spoons
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Dry yeast - 0.9 oz
- Wheat Flour - 33.5 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Light Raisins, Seedless - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the milk with the butter over low heat until the butter melts. Add the saffron.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients from the recipe. Add the yeast to the butter and milk mixture, and let it dissolve for two minutes.

Lower the mixer hook into the flour, turn on at low speed, gradually pour in the liquid mixture, and knead for 3-4 minutes until the dough is smooth.
Step 4
Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and let them rest for 30 minutes to allow the dough to rise.
Step 5
Roll each ball into a sausage shape and form them into various shapes, such as a rose or the letter S.
Step 6
Lightly beat the egg with a fork and brush it over the rolls. Decorate the rolls with raisins and place them in an oven preheated to 392°F for 15 minutes.
