Ingredients
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Baking Powder - ½ spoons
- M&M's candies - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the softened butter with sugar and beat with a mixer until light and fluffy.
Step 2
Add an egg and a teaspoon of vanilla sugar, then mix with a mixer.
Step 3
Add half a teaspoon of salt and the same amount of baking soda to the flour.
Step 4
Then, gradually add the flour in small portions and mix the dough thoroughly, preferably using your hands. The dough should form a smooth ball that doesn't stick to your hands.
Step 5
Then, tear off small pieces of the dough and form them into balls, which should be gently pressed down with your hand and placed on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. It's best to make small cookies about 4-5 cm in size, and the distance between the cookies should be at least 2 cm, as they will expand during baking.
Step 6
Now, the most exciting part for the kids – decorating the cookies with M&M's candies.
Step 7
Bake for 10-15 minutes. I baked them for 12 minutes until the bottom of the cookies was golden brown. Then I took them out of the oven and let them cool.
