Ingredients
- Water - 1 cup
- Sugar - ⅓ cup
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Fresh Mint - 0.8 oz
- Mango - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice a piece of fresh ginger (about 4 cm) into thin slices and add it to the water with sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove the pot from the heat, add the mint leaves, and cover for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Strain the syrup through a sieve and let it cool completely.
Step 4
Slice the mango into thin wedges, pour the syrup over it, and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Step 5
Before serving, arrange the mango in dessert bowls and garnish with mint leaves.
