- Lime - 1 piece
- Mango - 1 piece
- Coconut Liqueur - 4 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place sugar, water, ginger, star anise, lime juice, and zest in a pan and set over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes until it becomes a clear syrup. Let it cool.
Step 3
Add diced mango to the cooled syrup and refrigerate overnight.
Step 4
Arrange the mango in the center of a plate, and place scoops of ice cream next to it.
