Ingredients
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder - 20.1 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 teaspoons
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh Berries - 15.9 oz
- Sugar - 2 teaspoons
- Amaretti - 4 pieces
- Balsamic Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a blender, combine thawed strawberries with lemon juice and vanilla. Blend for 1 minute. Transfer to an ice cream maker or container and freeze.
Step 2
Place fresh strawberries, quartered, in a bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and mix well. Add vinegar and mix again. Let sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Scoop the sorbet into dessert bowls. Top with strawberries and drizzle with the juice from the bowl. Crumble amaretti on top and serve.
