Ingredients
- Water - 6 fl oz
- Coarse matzo - 4 pieces
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Cheshire Cheese - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Crumble 4 pieces of matzo into a bowl, pour in 180 ml of hot water or milk.
Step 2
Stir with a spoon and let sit for 10 minutes. If the liquid has not been absorbed, squeeze it out.
Step 3
Add 3 beaten eggs, grated cheese (I added cheddar), salt and pepper to taste, and mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet and drop spoonfuls to form pancakes. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
Step 5
Serve with yogurt, sour cream, or soft cream cheese.
