Description

You can use store-bought meatballs, but before baking, you need to take them out of the freezer 15–20 minutes in advance to let them slightly thaw. This will make it easier to press them into the dough later. If you are making the meatballs yourself, on the other hand, you should slightly freeze them.

Ingredients

  • Egg white - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
  • Sour Cream - 8.8 oz
  • Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cheese Spread - 5.3 oz
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Meatballs - 17.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Beat the eggs lightly, add sour cream (you can use kefir, it will be cheaper). Then add the flour mixed with baking powder and salt. The mixture should have a consistency similar to pancake batter.

Step 2

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Press the meatballs into the batter, leaving enough space between them.

Step 3

Grate the cheese and sprinkle it in the gaps between the meatballs.

Step 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 30 minutes (better to check according to your own oven). Let the finished pie sit for a while to absorb the juice released from the meatballs.
