Melon and Strawberry with Ice and Vodka

Ingredients

Strawberry - 14.1 oz
Watermelon - ½ piece
Vodka - 3 fl oz
Sparkling water - 10 fl oz
Liqueur - 5 tablespoons
Fresh Mint - 0.4 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Combine vodka, liqueur (preferably lemon) and sparkling water, mix, pour into an ice tray and freeze.

Step 2

Meanwhile, remove the seeds and skin from the melon and cut it into cubes, mix with halved strawberries.

Step 3

Then take the vodka ice out of the freezer, place it in a bag and crush it with a rolling pin — this should be easy, as the high alcohol content means the ice won't be too hard.

Step 4

Place a layer of vodka ice at the bottom of 4 glasses, top with the strawberry and melon mixture, sprinkle with torn mint leaves and serve immediately.
