- Cardamom - ¾ spoons

In a large bowl, whip the chilled egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat, followed by the cardamom.
Step 2
Transfer the egg whites to a piping bag or spoon them onto a baking sheet in small mounds.
Step 3
Place in the oven for 60-90 minutes, until the meringue is well dried. You can take it out when it's almost done, then turn off the oven and leave it inside to cool.
