Description
I made half a batch, and I ended up with 8 tortillas with a diameter of 15 cm. The tortillas are ready, and now you can prepare whatever you desire — burritos, tacos, fajitas, or simply fill the tortilla with greens and cheese and enjoy! Store in a bag to prevent them from drying out! Bon appétit!
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 25.4 oz
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Water - 16 fl oz
- Fat - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the flour onto the table, add salt and fat. Mix and rub with your hands until crumbly.
Step 2
Gradually add hot water and mix (not boiling! just hot enough to handle).
Step 3
Knead the dough and let it rest covered for about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Divide it into 4 parts, then cut each part in half.
Step 5
Roll out thin tortillas, using flour to prevent sticking.
Step 6
Take a dry skillet with a thick bottom, heat it moderately, and cook each tortilla for about 2 minutes on each side.
